Each van has an hourly or daily price, and the total is calculated from the booking dates and times. When a rental straddles a regular rate and a seasonal one, Flotway asks which price you agreed with the customer instead of guessing.

Mileage and fuel recorded at pick-up and return

For every rental, the odometer and fuel level are recorded at departure and at return, with photos and the renter's signature. Extra miles beyond the included allowance and missing fuel are added as extra fees on the booking and show up on the invoice.

Where vans get damaged, and how to prove it

Cargo vans and box trucks take damage in predictable places: roof and upper body from low clearances and drive-throughs, mirrors, rear doors, the liftgate, and the cargo floor and walls. Photograph those areas at every pick-up so the comparison at return takes seconds. Our vehicle inspection checklist covers every point.

Licenses and heavier trucks

Customer records keep the driver's license number, issuing country or state and expiry date. Most cargo vans can be driven on a regular license, but heavier trucks may require another license class depending on where you operate: check the rules in your state or province before handing over the keys.

Deposits, payments and traffic tickets

Down payments, balances and security deposits are tracked on each booking. When a parking ticket, toll invoice or red-light camera notice arrives weeks later, enter the date and vehicle and Flotway finds who was renting it.

Your rental agreement, filled in automatically

Your own terms (included mileage, cargo limits, damage deductible) are filled into a PDF agreement that the renter signs on your phone or tablet.
